The cast for the Romantic Killer live-action movie includes Moka Kamishiraishi as Anzu, Kyohei Takahashi as Tsukasa Kazuki, Masaya Kimura as Junta Hayami, and Sota Nakajima as Hijiri Koganei. Tsutomu Hanabusa (Tokyo Revengers live-action film) will be directing.

The Shueisha-published Romantic Killer manga began serialization on Shonen Jump+ in 2019 and concluded with its fourth volume in 2020. Viz Media describes the manga as:
High schooler Anzu Hoshino enjoys a fantastic life, playing video games, eating snacks, and spending time with her adored cat. Yet, this happy routine turns into chaos when a magical creature transports her to a new reality devoid of her favorite things. She now finds herself surrounded by attractive guys! How can she possibly endure this dreadful situation?!

Previously, it inspired an anime produced by domerica and directed by Kazuya Ichikawa (The World Ends with You: The Animation) that premiered on Netflix in 2022.
