©タイザン5／集英社・「タコピーの原罪」製作委員会Ani-One Asia has revealed that the Takopi’s Original Sin anime will be available for streaming on its YouTube channel, beginning on June 27 UTC+8.
The six-episode series will receive new episodes every Friday at 11 PM UTC+8.
The regions where it’s accessible include Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Fiji, Guam, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, the Maldives, the Marshall Islands, Mauritius, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, the Northern Mariana Islands, Pakistan, Palau, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, the Samoan Islands, Seychelles, Singapore, the Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Timor-Leste (East Timor), Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, and Vietnam.
Takopi’s Original Sin adapts the manga by TAIZAN 5, which started serialization on Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump+ in 2021. MangaPlus outlines the story as:
Takopi journeys from his homeland of Happy Planet to bring joy to Earth, but on arrival, he encounters the melancholic Shizuka. The challenges posed by her friends and home life seem to be the root of her sorrow, and the well-meaning Takopi is resolute in his mission to improve her circumstances! However, what revelations await him as this poignant drama unfolds?!
