The series originated as a web novel penned by Nana Otori on AlphaPolis beginning on April 10, 2018. It transitioned into a light novel series on August 6, 2018, with five volumes released by October 2024. The light novels later inspired a manga adaptation by Sora Hoonoki in June 2019, which is being made available digitally in English on the Alpha Manga app.
