©2025 メガロックス社広報宣伝部 The latest character trailer has been introduced for the forthcoming original TV anime series Necronomico and the Cosmic Horror Show, featuring the character Ghatanothoa. The series is set to debut in Japan on July 1, 2025.
Masato Matsune (The Stories of Girls Who Couldn’t Be Magicians) is at the helm of the original anime series, with Makoto Uezu (KonoSuba) serving as the story draft writer and screenwriter, Jiro Suzuki (Revenger co-original character designer, Umineko no Naku Koro ni: Episode 2: Turn of the Golden Witch manga artist) as the original character designer, Hiroshi Kosuga as the character designer and chief animation director, and Evan Call (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End) composing the music. Studio Gokumi is responsible for the animation production, while Cygames is overseeing the series overall.
In the meantime, the voice cast for the anime includes:

Miko Kurono, also referred to as Necronomico, finishes middle school and resolves to chase her ambitions of becoming a streamer. One day, while with her childhood friend, Mayu Mayusaka, and her rival, Kanna Kagurasaka, she agrees to play a new VR game. The game presents Miko with the chance to tackle enigmatic challenges alongside other distinct streamers she encounters in the VR universe.
