The new character trailer has been unveiled for the soon-to-be-released Necronomico and the Cosmic Horror Show TV anime series, showcasing the cosmic entity Gua. The anime is set to debut in Japan on July 1, 2025.
Masato Matsune (The Stories of Girls Who Couldn’t Be Magicians) is at the helm of the original anime series, with Makoto Uezu (KonoSuba) contributing as story draft writer and screenwriter, Jiro Suzuki (Revenger co-original character designer, Umineko no Naku Koro ni: Episode 2: Turn of the golden witch manga artist) serving as original character designer, Hiroshi Kosuga acting as character designer and chief animation director, and Evan Call (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End) composing the music. Studio Gokumi is responsible for the animation production, while Cygames is acknowledged as the producer of the series.
Meanwhile, the anime’s voice cast includes:

Miko Kurono, also referred to as Necronomico, finishes middle school and aspires to become a streamer. One day, while with her childhood friend, Mayu Mayusaka, and her rival, Kanna Kagurasaka, she agrees to participate in a new VR game. The game grants Miko the chance to face enigmatic challenges alongside other distinctive streamers she encounters in the VR universe.
