©2025 メガロックス社広報宣伝部The anticipated Necronomico and the Cosmic Horror Show TV anime has unveiled a main trailer along with the announcement of a July 1 JST premiere date. The trailer introduces the presence of Princess Cthulhu and other malevolent deities that aim for humanity’s demise.
While the actual plot of the anime was previously under wraps, the latest trailer and synopsis reveal that the main character, Miko, will find herself involved in a VR game that turns out to be a deadly challenge orchestrated by Cthulhu. The preview also depicts Miko’s anger over Cthulhu’s resemblance to her companion Mayu, one of several popular streamers who have inexplicably lost their consciousness.

The musical pieces are VTuber Ryushen’s “Kakushouron” (opening) and Vell feat. Noa (from Colorful Peach)’s “PANDORA” (ending).
