Along with this, it was disclosed that a Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be available, boasting enhanced graphics and frame rates.
The physical and digital editions of Pokémon Legends: Z-A can be upgraded to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition from the Nintendo Switch by acquiring an upgrade pack. Moreover, the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will be playable on the Nintendo Switch, excluding any content that requires the upgraded specifications of the Switch 2.
Additionally, The Pokémon Company has confirmed that the upcoming “Pokémon Presents” will be broadcast on July 22nd at 23:00 JST/ 6:00 AM PST. This presentation will feature the newest updates regarding games, the trading card game (TCG), and anime. Additional details on Pokémon Legends: A-Z may be unveiled during the next Pokémon Presents.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A serves as the second entry in the Legend Series of the game. It was initially revealed in February 2024 during the Pokémon Presents and later showcased with a gameplay trailer in this year’s Pokémon Presents in February 2025. The narrative unfolds years before X and Y in Luminose City, located in the Kalos region, where a project for urban redevelopment is in progress. This installment also signifies the return of Mega Evolution.
