© 岩船晶・戸部淑・イマジカインフォス／「ポーション、わが身を助ける」製作委員会 The most recent teaser trailer for the upcoming Potion, Waga Mi o Tasukeru “light anime” series was released last week, highlighting the voices of the main characters and announcing its start in Japan on October 2, 2025.
Mikiko Furukawa (Moriarty’s Perfect Crime) is directing the light anime series, with bermei.inazawa handling the music and Yuichi Imaizumi (Medalist) serving as sound director. Studio KAIBA is responsible for the animation assistance, while Kazuya Takahashi oversees production supervision. IMAGICA Infos and Imageworks Studio are responsible for the animation production.
Simultaneously, the main voice cast includes Kaede Hondo as the protagonist Kaede and Takeo Otsuka as Asuru.
The original isekai fantasy light novel series is authored by Akira Iwafune and illustrated by Sunaho Tobe. It was initially released under Shufunotomo’s Hero Bunko imprint on April 27, 2015, and has published 10 volumes as of September 2024. It originated as a web novel on Shosetsuka ni Naro, published from April 10, 2014, to September 21, 2024.
A manga adaptation by the same creators was launched in September 2023.
