(Yuusha Party o Tsuihou Sareta Shiro Madoushi, S Rank Boukensha ni Hirowareru ~Kono Shiro Madoushi ga Kikakugai sugiru~) television anime is scheduled to start broadcasting on July 10 JST (effectively July 11 at 1 AM JST). The second key visual for the show was unveiled alongside the announcement of the premiere date.
Moreover, it was revealed that M.A.O will be part of the cast as Clea, and that Choucho‘s “Hikari Sasu Tobira” will serve as the ending theme for the anime.
©水月穹・椋野わさび／双葉社・追放された白魔導師の製作委員会Yuusha Party o Tsuiho Sareta Shiro Madoshi is adapted from the manga illustrated by Wasabi Mukuno, which is based on the light novel series written by Sora Suigetsu. The story revolves around the White Mage Lloyd, who is abandoned by the Hero’s Party due to their belief that he lacks sufficient skills. Unknown to them, Lloyd is actually the pupil of a missing great sage and possesses support magic that exceeds the ordinary. After being expelled by the Hero’s Party, he embarks on an adventure while mistakenly believing he is unremarkable.
Yuusha Party o Tsuiho Sareta Shiro Madoshi originated as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in March 2020. Futabasha publishes both the light novels and the manga, with the latter appearing in Gaugau Monster+. The light novels feature illustrations by DeeCHA, who is credited as the original character designer for the anime.
