A fresh teaser visual has been unveiled for the forthcoming second season of Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill, highlighting Sui the slime enjoying some fried chicken. The second season is set to premiere in Japan in October 2025.

The anime is adapted from the fantasy light novel series, written by Ren Eguchi and illustrated by Masa. It initially started as a web novel on Shosetsuka in Naro in January 2016. The light novel series from Overlap also commenced in the same year and has released 15 volumes as of May 2025. It prompted a manga adaptation written by Akagishi K and the spinoff Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill: Sui’s Great Adventure written by Momo Futaba.
J-Novel Club has made the light novels and manga available in English digitally, while Yen Press publishes the print version of the light novel and manga.

Crunchyroll is hosting the first season of Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill, which aired in 2023 for a total of 12 episodes. It summarizes the narrative of the first season as follows:
Mukoda Tsuyoshi, an everyday salaryman, finds himself transported to another world one day. The unusual ability he acquires upon his arrival in this world is the seemingly unhelpful “Online Grocery.” Initially feeling disheartened, Mukoda discovers that the modern foods he can bring to his new realm with this skill have some astonishing effects!
