Additionally, two new cast members have been revealed: Hikaru Midorikawa as the magician Eldas and Atsushi Abe as the prince Regulus.

K Manga describes the manga adaptation written by Yuki Monji as: “I don’t need a worthless mage who can only use support magic. You’re fired.” Alec, a court magician who discreetly aided the crown prince, suddenly finds himself banished from the royal court. Now without a job, he visits the magic academy and encounters Yorha, one of his former party members. Their illustrious team once set a record in the royal dungeon — now it’s time to reunite and embark on a brand new legendary journey!
The light novels are released under the K Ranove Books label, with five volumes published as of August 2024. The initial web novel began in 2020.
