©柴田ヨクサル／ヒーローズ・Tojima Rider Project A primary opening theme song and performer have been revealed for the anticipated Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider TV anime series, which is set to premiere in Japan on October 4, 2025. Crunchyroll will broadcast the anime globally, excluding Japan and Asia.

The opening theme for the anime series is “Wanna be” performed by TeddyLoid featuring Shigeru Matsuzaki & TOPHAMHAT-KY. Matsuzaki also shares a comment in the newly unveiled announcement video below.
Takahiro Ikezoe (SHOW BY ROCK!!) is directing the anime, while Toko Machida (7th Time Loop: The Villainess Enjoys a Carefree Life Married to Her Worst Enemy!) takes on the role of series screenwriter. Character design is entrusted to Cindy H. Yamauchi (Divine Gate), with TeddyLoid (Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt) handling music composition. LIDENFILMS is responsible for the animation production.
Further personnel include Yoshihiro Ujiie (The Water Magician) as prop designer, Ishigaki Pro’s Yukihiro Shibutani (TONIKAWA: Over The Moon For You Seasons 1-2) and Ayano Aizu as art directors, and movwav’s Takayuki Yamaguchi (Steins;Gate 0) serving as sound director.
Additionally, the anime’s previously announced voice cast comprises:

- • Kenichi Suzumura as Ichiyo Shimamura
- • Soma Saito as Mitsuha Shimamura

The anime is inspired by the tokusatsu manga series authored by Yokusaru Shibata, which made its debut in Hero’s Inc.’s Monthly Hero’s magazine on May 1, 2018, before transitioning to the Comiplex website on November 27, 2020. As of April 2025, sixteen tankobon volumes have been published.
