Today, Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc. revealed a new trailer for Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2. The New Arc preview trailer highlights the confrontations between Will and Elfaria during the Terminalia festival and teases what lies ahead for Will and his companions as they prepare to graduate from the magic academy and journey towards the “Tower” in the forthcoming chapters.
The upcoming episode, Episode 18, debuts this Sunday on Crunchyroll.
Synopsis: Finally, Will arrives at the tower where Elfaria is waiting. His enthusiasm for the Colorless Garden, a village that spans the first floor, is fleeting. Thus begins the Bloom, a ceremony where color blessings from each faction in the tower are given. For Sion, Colette, Lihanna, and Wignall, who were recruited while studying, their Colorless Gloria reflects the colors of their respective factions. In contrast, those of Will and Julius, who weren’t recruited, remain colorless. Will and the others discover the harsh reality — that those without faction affiliation will live their lives as mere cogs in the machine supporting the tower.

Wistoria: Wand and Sword is adapted from the manga created by Fujino Omori, with artwork by Toshi Aoi, serialized in Shonen Magazine (volumes 1-15 currently available). The anime series is directed by chief director Tatsuya Yoshihara (Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc) and director Hideaki Nakano (Devils Line), featuring character design and chief animation direction by Sayaka Ono (Bastard!! Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy), music by Yuki Hayashi (My Hero Academia: Vigilantes), and animation production by BN Pictures and subsidiary Actas (Classroom for Heroes, Girls und Panzer).
