Today, Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc. revealed the primary visual and trailer for the second season of fantasy anime series Wistoria: Wand and Sword. Season 2 is set to start streaming in April on Crunchyroll, where viewers can catch up on Season 1.
Based on the manga by Fujino Ōmori — the creator of Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? — and emerging manga artist Toshi Aoi, Wistoria: Wand and Sword tells the story of Will, a young boy who dares to challenge a world dominated by magic with only a sword in hand.
The new poster preview showcases Urbus Rigarden excitedly preparing for the New Year’s celebration “Terminaria,” but just as the Great Barrier is being changed, a wave of monsters begins to invade. Will confronts a hoard of monsters with his sword while teaming up with mages casting spells. Workner, exhausted from combat, supports the “skill-less” Will; What singular magic is it that only Will possesses? As Will is spotted wielding his sword alongside Finn’s words, will he be capable of guarding what he holds dear?
