A teaser video for next year’s Detective Conan anime film has been unveiled, hinting at its arrival and confirming a release during the Golden Week holiday.

The video, which was reportedly presented following screenings of this year’s Detective Conan: One-eyed Flashback starting from May 30 JST before making its debut on YouTube, includes a bomb countdown and features Miyuki Sawashiro‘s Chihaya Hagiwara asking, “What did you want to say that day?” The video concludes with feathers falling, which are then scorched by flames.

The 2026 Detective Conan film will mark the franchise’s 29th animated feature.

Its immediate predecessor, Detective Conan: One-eyed Flashback, premiered in Japan on April 18 JST and achieved the franchise’s highest opening weekend as well as the second-highest total earnings at its domestic box office. It currently ranks as the 10th highest-grossing film in Japan according to Kogyo Tsushin.
