The trailer also showcases the opening theme “Enja” by artist 4s4ki, and the ending theme “her” by Mahiru Coda.
The two new cast members joining the series include Hisako Kanemoto as Selaia and Akeno Watanabe as Layla.

Naoki Mizusawa is directing the anime adaptation, with Naoki Horiuchi (The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash director) as series unit director, Kenta Ihara (Tomodachi Game) as series screenwriter, and SOIL&”PIMP”SESSIONS members Shachou and Hironori Anazawa (Scarlet Nexus) providing music composition. Sotsu is co-producing the animation production alongside Studio Clutch with assistance from STUDIO MASSKET.
Following the series delay that was announced in May 2023, Norikazu Ishigouoka (Hortensia Saga assistant director) was initially the director of the anime adaptation. Sotsu, Makaria, and Yokohama Animation Laboratory were credited as the animation production companies.
The anime is based on the Tsuyokute New Saga light novel series, authored by Masayuki Abe and illustrated by Ryuta Fuse. It was first published by AlphaPolis on April 8, 2013 and concluded on July 2, 2018. A total of 10 volumes were released during its run. A manga adaptation by Jun Miura was initiated in 2014 and finished in 2022.
