Image source: TOHO animation channelThe initial trailer for The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten Season 2 has arrived, offering a 38-second glimpse of the TV anime sequel.
The upcoming season’s director is Chihiro Kumano (Unnamed Memory assistant director, director of the forthcoming The Kept Man of the Princess Knight). The director from the previous season was initially Kenichi Imaizumi (Kingdom Season 3 to 5 and After School Dice Club director), but prior to the show’s premiere, the credits were altered to credit Lihua Wang/Reika Ou as the director and Imaizumi as the supervisor.
Keiichiro Ochi and Takayuki Noguchi continue as the series composer and character designer, respectively, for the project No.9 production. Sub-character designer N Nei Kurahashi is also returning.
The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten is adapted from the romantic comedy light novels authored by Saeki-san, published under SB Creative’s GA Bunko label. Yen Press describes the storyline of the book series as:

The first season of the anime aired from January to March 2023. The second season was confirmed in October 2023.
The light novel series began in 2019 and has 11 main volumes by March 2025. For the first volume, the current illustrator Hanekoto only created the cover art, while Hazano Watake illustrated the remaining artwork. It achieved first place in the This Light Novel Is Amazing! 2024 Bunko and Web Survey in Female Character (Mahiru Shiina), Male Character (Amane Fujimiya), and illustrator categories.
