REMOW Co., Ltd. has presented a fresh visual and trailer for the anticipated anime adaptation of Psyren, the psychic battle action manga by Toshiaki Iwashiro, originally published in Weekly Shonen Jump from 2008 to 2010. The series, produced by Satelight (Aquarion, Symphogear), is scheduled to debut in October 2026 (on Crunchyroll globally, excluding Japan) and will completely adapt the manga storyline until its conclusion.
The trailer begins with main character Ageha Yoshina utilizing a mysterious red telephone card — his sole lead in locating his childhood friend, Sakurako Amamiya, who has vanished. Suddenly transported to the enigmatic realm of “Psyren,” Ageha becomes entangled in a perilous game alongside Hiryu Asaga and others.
The preview also shows characters unleashing their psychic powers known as “Psi,” as they confront brutal battles while striving to unravel the enigmas of a ravaged future world.

“I’m truly thankful for the chance to participate in this long-awaited anime adaptation through music. I crafted the song envisioning the idea of pushing past your limits and maintaining the effort to reach out, even as warning signals resonate throughout your entirety,” stated guitarist, vocalist, lyricist, and composer AOi. “Ultimately, this is a track where every note bursts with unfiltered energy. Experience our creativity.”
Two additional cast members have also been disclosed: Yuhko Kaida (Isabella in The Promised Neverland) as Matsuri Yagumo, Sakurako Amamiya’s mentor, and Nobuyuki Hiyama (Hiei in YuYu Hakusho) as Dolkey, a foe obstructing Ageha and the others. They join the previously revealed cast members Rikuyia Yasuda as Ageha Yoshina, Mayuko Kazama as Sakurako Amamiya, Shunsuke Takeuchi as Hiryu Asaga, Soma Saito as Oboro Mochizuki, and Yukihiro Nozuyama as Kabuto Kirisaki.

“Just viewing the trailer is enough to make me extremely excited!” Kaida expressed. “Recording has been an absolute delight, collaborating with such phenomenal staff and talented cast. Matsuri may enjoy her drinks, but she’s also a reliable, big-sister type, and I’m having an incredible time dedicating myself to this role. After nearly 15 years, Ageha and the others’ game is at last set into motion. Let’s uncover the secrets of the world of Psyren together!”
Hiyama commented, “Psyren was serialized quite some time ago, and now, after all these years, it’s finally receiving an anime adaptation. You can truly feel the energy this series carries! Dolkey, the character I portray, is — in many ways — a rather straightforward antagonist! I absolutely enjoy taking on characters like him, allowing me to immerse myself in his direct conflicts with the protagonists. I hope you’ll enjoy witnessing that aspect of him in action!”
Psyren is directed by Katsumi Ono (Symphogear), with series composition led by Shin Yoshida (Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise), character design by Akira Okuma, and music by Takashi Ohmama, Tatsuhiko Saiki, and Shu Kanematsu.
In addition to being available for streaming globally on Crunchyroll (excluding Japan), Psyren will also stream in Russia on IVI starting in October.
