REMOW Co. Ltd. has unveiled a new character-focused trailer for With You, Our Love Will Make It Through. (also known as Kimikoe), the latest anime series based on the beloved shojo manga by Chihiro Yuzuki (serialized in Manga Mee, published by Shueisha). The studio has also announced that the ending theme song is titled “Kimi ni Naretara,” written and performed by Yoh Kamiyama. The series is scheduled to make its broadcast debut in Japan on Tuesday, October 14.
The newly released character trailer, along with a fresh key visual, centers on the four main characters — Mari Asaka, Tsunagu Hidaka, Yukihiro Aida, and Kisara — showcasing the complex emotions of their youthful connections. The opening theme, “Kusuguttai.,” is performed by CHiCO in collaboration with HoneyWorks. Set to this song, the trailer emphasizes the fateful meeting between human high schooler Mari and beastfolk boy Tsunagu, illuminating the genuine feelings they begin to develop. In the latter part of the trailer, the ending theme “Kimi ni Naretara” is revealed for the first time; it is a melodic piece that resonates with Yukihiro’s concealed emotions and Kisara’s internal struggles.
“’Kimi ni Naretara’ revolves around the theme of conveying sincere feelings while overcoming various emotional obstacles,” said Kamiyama, who gained viral fame with his song “Yellow” and has also contributed music to the anime series Drifting Dragons and Horimiya. “I aimed to craft a sound that captivates listeners, and I hope you enjoy it along with the lyrics. I would be thrilled if the music enhances the emotional depth of the anime’s world.”

Synopsis: In the year 20XX, beastfolk are a minor segment of human society. An outstanding student, Tsunagu, a beastfolk, enters the class of Mari, a high school student residing in a town where beastfolk and humans coexist. Initially perplexed by her first encounter with a beastfolk, Mari becomes increasingly drawn to the kind and genuine Tsunagu as they spend time together in class. Tsunagu, in turn, is enchanted by Mari’s alluring “sweet smell” and admires her beauty and strength. However, in this world, where beastfolk are segregated beyond a wall, even the simple act of being close to a human and a beastfolk evokes curiosity… not to mention the challenge of falling in love.
A human and a beastfolk. What fate awaits their love that transcends their differences?
