The anime’s ending theme is “Migi Hidari,” performed by VTuber and music artist Yuka Nagase, and is featured in the new trailer.
In the meantime, the main opening theme revealed last month is “Level wo Agete Butsuri de Naguru” by Kisida Kyodan & The Akebosi Rockets.
Yuya Horiuchi (Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Season 2 assistant director) is directing the anime, with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Flower and Asura) serving as series screenwriter and Maiko Ebisawa (Love Live! Superstar!! Season 3 Episode 8 co-dance part animation director) as character designer. Takashi Kobayashi and Shota Ueno are credited as sub-character designers, while Wao World is handling the animation production.

The anime is adapted from the isekai dark fantasy light novel series, penned by Firehead and illustrated by YahaKo, which was initially published by Earth Star Entertainment on February 15, 2016, and concluded on April 15, 2019. A total of nine volumes were released in Japan.
The light novels also inspired a manga adaptation by Tsubasa Hazuki, beginning in June 2017. The original Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel started in October 2015 and finished in April 2019.
