Crunchyroll has revealed plans to launch the Lord of Mysteries Chinese donghua animated series worldwide on June 28, 2025. On that date, the first two episodes of the series will be available and will feature in its Summer 2025 simulcast lineup.
the company will stream Lord of Mysteries across various countries and regions including North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Oceania, the Middle East, North Africa, the Indian Subcontinent, and Southeast Asia.

The company further announced the creation of multiple language dubbed versions, including English, to be released in the future.
Additionally, the donghua’s official Twitter/X account indicated that the series will also be accessible on Tencent Video, Muse, and “more platforms launching soon.”
The donghua is produced by Tencent Video and Yuewen, with B.CMAY PICTURES handling the animation production.
The series is based on the original Chinese webnovel Guimi Zhi Zhu, written by Cuttlefish That Loves Diving. It was serialized on the Qidian website from April 1, 2018, until its conclusion on May 1, 2020. The webnovel was later published in English digitally as Lord of Mysteries by Webnovel, while the printed version has been licensed and released in English by Yen Press.
The web novel was subsequently published in print in China from May 1, 2020, to August 1, 2023. A mobile RPG game sharing the same name is currently in development.
