The Ace of the Diamond Act II Season 2 anime is scheduled to debut in 2026. A teaser visual has been unveiled alongside the premiere window’s announcement.

The initial Ace of the Diamond Act II aired from 2019 to 2020. This series was itself a continuation of two earlier anime, Ace of the Diamond and Ace of the Diamond -Second Season-. The anime are based on the Kodansha-published manga by Yuji Terajima (titled Daiya no Ace in Japanese) as well as its sequel Ace of the Diamond Act II. Kodansha USA describes the original manga as follows:
Eijun Sawamura was determined to win the middle-school national baseball championships. However, his team was knocked out due to a wild pitch from Eijun himself. He intended to enter high school alongside his teammates and make another attempt the following year when he’s scouted by the renowned Seido High School Baseball team. On his campus visit, he confronts unexpected challenges! The experience of forming a battery with rising catcher Miyuki reignites his zeal for baseball!!
The first two anime were co-productions of Madhouse and Production IG, whereas Ace of the Diamond Act II was solely produced by Madhouse. Mitsuyuki Masuhara directed all three series with Kenji Konuta serving as series composer. Minoru Ueta received character designer credits for all seasons but shared the credits with Satoshi Tasaki, who was chief animation director for Ace of the Diamond and Ace of the Diamond -Second Season-, during the third season.
Ryota Osaka provides the voice for Eijun Sawamura.
The manga was serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine, with Ace of the Diamond premiering in 2006. Ace of the Diamond Act II released its 34th and concluding volume in May 2023.
