The no-cost action RPG Tribe Nine is scheduled to terminate its service on November 27, 2025 JST. This notice arrives just a few months following its debut in February 2025.
Expected additions to the Akatsuki Games-created title, such as its fourth chapter along with characters Ichinosuke Akiba and Saizo Akiba, will not be included in the game. Planned fixes and modifications are also called off, and the sale of Paid Enigma Entity currency and Daily Passes are ceased as well.
Refunds for the Paid Enigma Entities will commence after the completion of Support Contract – Revenio, but Enigma Entities will still be “available for use.”

Concerning the shutdown, the announcement stated, “Since the game’s launch, the development and operation teams have strived to provide excellent service and improve player experience. However, after careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to end the game’s service.”
Tribe Nine was launched for Steam, iOS, and Android. The official description states:
Fight for freedom and survive the dangerous streets of Neo-Tokyo. Form a formidable trio of troubled teens, each with their unique personalities, as well as strengths and skills to level up. Engage in life-or-death battles against warring juvenile tribes, massive mechs, and enigmatic enemies across the dystopian cityscape. Assist local city-dwellers through sidequests, and unfold an ever-expanding adventure with free updates to the main story.
The game is part of a media-mix initiative that encompasses a 2022 anime and a webtoon published on HykeComic. According to the old project website, the game’s production credits feature Danganronpa creator Kazutaka Kodaka (original drafts), TookyoGames (scenario supervision), and the Danganronpa series’ Rui Komatsuzaki and Shimadoriru (original character designs).
