BLEACH Mimics Star Wars’ Andor for New Collaboration Visual

The BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War anime has unveiled a collaboration visual with the collaboration partner being the Star Wars spin-off series Andor.

BLEACH‘s version of the Andor Season 2 poster substitutes Cassian Andor with Uryu Ishida, showcasing various members of the Wandenreich. Additionally, Ichigo Kurosaki takes the place of Stormtroopers at the bottom. The social media caption draws a connection between Uryu confronting his fate and Andor resisting overpowering authority.

The BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War anime debuted in 2022 and has had three non-contiguous cours to date. The upcoming cour, BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, Part 4 – The Calamity, is forthcoming.

The anime adapts the concluding story arc of Tite Kubo‘s Bleach manga, where Soul Society faces off against the Quincy king Yhwach and his forces.

BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War and Andor are both streaming on Disney+. Andor is a spin-off of the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story film, which is itself a spin-off from the main Star Wars series. The show provides insight into the character Cassian Andor and the early initiatives of the rebellion against the Galactic Empire.
