Crunchyroll and Discord Unveil My Hero Academia Profile Collection

Crunchyroll and Discord are partnering for the first-ever anime collaboration profile collection featuring My Hero Academia. The “My Hero Academia Shop Collection on Discord” is set to launch ahead of Crunchyroll’s 2025 Anime Awards on May 25, 2025.

Notable characters included in the collaboration comprise Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, Ochaco Uraraka, All Might, Tomura Shigaraki, among others.

The eighth and concluding season of My Hero Academia is anticipated to debut in Japan in October 2025. The series has had a total of seven seasons released from 2016 to 2024, all produced by Bones.

A spinoff series titled My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is currently being aired in Japan, starting April 7, 2025, and will consist of 13 episodes.

Viz Media publishes Kohei Horikoshi’s original manga in English for North America, summarizing the main premise as follows: Middle school student Izuku Midoriya aspires to be a hero more than anything, but lacks any power. With no opportunity to enroll in the prestigious U.A. High School for budding heroes, his life seems to be at a dead end. An encounter with All Might, the greatest hero, provides him a chance to alter his destiny…

Prior to this, Crunchyroll collaborated with Discord in 2022 to introduce the “Rich Presence” integration that enabled linking a Crunchyroll account with Discord.
