Ⓒ冬夏アキハル・白泉社／「転生悪女の黒歴史」製作委員会Crunchyroll revealed at a panel during Otakon 2025 that it will stream The Dark History of the Reincarnated Villainess TV anime series in October 2025. The series is set to start airing in Japan on October 8, 2025.
The anime will be available for streaming on the platform in the following regions: North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
Hiroaki Sakurai (The Demon Girl Next Door) will direct the anime series, with Mitsutaka Hirota (Possibly the Greatest Alchemist of All Time) as the series screenwriter and Tomoyo Sawada (We Love Rice) as the character designer. Animation production will be handled by Studio Deen.
Meanwhile, the anime’s primary voice cast includes:

The original romantic comedy isekai manga by Akiharu Touka premiered in Hakusensha’s LaLa magazine on August 24, 2018 and has 16 tankobon volumes published as of May 2025, including a short story collection.

Crunchyroll additionally announced during this year’s Otakon that it has licensed Kakuriyo -Bed & Breakfast for Spirits- 2 for worldwide streaming, excluding Asia and Japan, this upcoming Fall 2025.
