This will be available on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam.
What players can expect from this release is the original storyline accompanied by “new visuals and production value for modern game systems,” along with a new narrative “based on Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair.” The new plot maintains the original’s environment and characters but diverges into “a completely different chain of events with different victims, culprits, and tricks” following a specific incident.
According to the press release, the new scenario matches the original in terms of content quantity.
