©くずしろ・講談社／「笑顔のたえない職場です。」製作委員会 Three new cast members have been revealed for the upcoming Egao no Taenai Shokuba Desu TV anime series. The anime is set to debut in Japan in October 2025. The official website lists the series under the English title A Mangaka’s Weirdly Wonderful Workplace.
The three newly announced cast include Iori Saeki as Shiori, Mamiko Noto as Ren, and Kikuko Inoue as Wakako.

Kaoru Suzuki (DIVE!!) is directing the anime series, with Mio Inoue (Slow Start) serving as series screenwriter, and Kana Miyai (The Apothecary Diaries co-sub character designer, RWBY: Ice Queendom co-main animator) as character designer. Voil is responsible for the animation production.
The anime is derived from the comedy manga series by Kuzushiro, which began serialization on Kodansha’s Comic DAYS website on May 18, 2019, and has released 12 volumes as of April 2025.
