© & ™ Lucasfilm Ltd. Dark Horse Comics and Lucasfilm have revealed a new Kickstarter initiative for The Art of Star Wars: A New Hope—The Manga. This deluxe volume highlights manga creator Hisao Tamaki’s original unseen art boards from his 1997 manga adaptation of George Lucas’s 1977 Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope film.
Anime Trending has exclusive access to the “Tamaki Art Print Set,” which is featured in the campaign and available for purchase. This curated collection consists of six prints that showcase notable pages from Tamaki’s Star Wars: A New Hope manga. While rendered in black and white, each print is presented in full color to highlight every detail of the art boards—from delicate pencil strokes and paste-ups to editorial comments and the organic wear of the paper.
