© OSHIKIKEIGO The primary opening and closing theme songs have been unveiled for the forthcoming Fermat no Ryori TV anime adaptation, which is set to premiere in Japan on July 5, 2025.
The anime’s opening theme is “Maillard,” executed by Japanese musician OSHIKIKEIGO, while the closing theme is “Change Over” by Japanese boy band DXTEEN, who were confirmed to perform the show’s ending theme last month.
Kazuya Ichikawa (Burning Kabaddi, Touken Ranbu Kai: Doden Chikashi Haberau Monora, and Bakugan: Legends) is directing the series, with Miyuki Kaieda (Burning Kabaddi) as assistant director, Takeshi Okamoto (Touken Ranbu Kai: Doden Chikashi Haberau Monora co-sub character designer) and Satsuki Kashiwagi (Touken Ranbu Kai: Doden Chikashi Haberau Monora co-sub character designer) serving as character designers and chief animation directors, and Satoshi Igarashi (Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!) as music composer. Domerica is managing the animation production and is responsible for writing the series screenplay and scripts. Ichikawa also acts as president at the company.

The anime is based on the cooking manga series by AOASHI’s Yugo Kobayashi that started serialization in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine on September 6, 2018. Five tankobon volumes have been published as of April 2025.
The manga also led to a 10-episode live-action TV drama series from TBS that aired in 2023.
