Firefly Wedding TV anime has unveiled its second teaser trailer, introducing two more cast members in anticipation of its October 9, 2026 premiere. The first promotional video was released in March.
Kento Ito will portray Kotaro Ogawa, while Kenjiro Tsuda takes on the role of Mitsueda. They will join the previously announced leads Lynn as Satoko Kirigaya and Koki Uchiyama as Shinpei Goto.
Takahiro Kamei is at the helm of directing the series at studio david production (Fire Force). Yuko Kakihara is responsible for series composition and scripts, with character design by Yukiko Aikei. The music is composed by NOGRID. Check out the new trailer below.

Firefly Wedding – New Anime Trailer | October 9 Premiere
Prior to the broadcast, a premiere screening is scheduled to take place in Japan on September 6. This event will showcase the first three episodes and host a discussion featuring Lynn, Koki Uchiyama, and Kento Ito.
The original manga by Oreco Tachibana is serialized on Shogakukan’s MangaONE app. The series has exceeded 4.5 million copies in circulation, with 12 collected volumes currently available. Additionally, it was awarded the 2024 Digital Comic Award. The narrative follows Satoko, the daughter of an esteemed family, who has been informed that her time is limited. Her ambition is to marry into another distinguished family to make her father proud, but everything changes when she is kidnapped.
In a dire circumstance alongside assassin Shinpei, Satoko fabricates a marriage proposal, assuring him that he can have everything if they unite. Surprisingly, Shinpei takes her proposal to heart and becomes committed to Satoko as she navigates her responsibilities and her deepening feelings for him.
