Gachiakuta TV Anime Introduces 5 Additional Cast Members

Five additional new cast members are being added to the current TV anime adaptation of Gachiakuta. The anime made its debut in Japan on July 6, 2025, and will run for a total of 24 episodes.
The new cast members joining the show include:

They join an anime voice cast that features:

Recently, three additional cast members were announced to be joining the series, including Mitsuki Saiga as Tamsy, Masami Iwasaki as Delmon, and Ayahi Takagaki as Cthoni.
Additionally, a new action visual featuring Jabber has been released following the airing of the anime’s seventh episode.

Fumihiko Suganuma (Train to the End of the World chief episode director, T.P Bon Episode 6 storyboard artist and director) is helming the anime series, with Hiroshi Seko (Wind Breaker, Jujutsu Kaisen) serving as the series screenwriter, Satoshi Ishino (Godzilla Singular Point) as character designer and chief animation director, while Yoshino Matsumoto is the sub character designer and chief animation director. BONES FILM (credited under Studio Bones at the time of announcement) is responsible for the animation production.
The anime is based on the dark fantasy action manga series by Kei Urana (with graffiti art by Hideyoshi Ando), which first appeared in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine on February 16, 2022. As of June 2025, fifteen tankobon volumes have been made available, with a 16th volume scheduled for release in Japan on September 17, 2025. Kodansha USA is publishing the series in English.
The manga was also a finalist in the Shonen Category at the 47th and 48th Kodansha Manga Award.

Rudo resides in the slums of a floating town, where the impoverished manage to survive under the oppressive gaze of the affluent, who enjoy a lavish lifestyle, merely casting their refuse off the edge into the abyss. One fateful day, he is wrongfully accused of murder, and his unjust conviction results in a horrifying punishment — banishment off the edge, along with the rest of the waste. Below, in the depths, the discarded remnants of humanity have spawned ferocious monsters, and if Rudo wishes to uncover the truth and take revenge against those who sentenced him to Hell, he must harness newfound powers and join a faction known as the Cleaners, who battle the monstrous trash beasts of the Pit!
