A 1/7 “Manga Edition” figure of Ghost in the Shell‘s Motoko Kusanagi is now available for pre-order.
The Ghost in the Shell (Manga Edition) – Motoko Kusanagi 1/7 Scale Figure, sculpted by Max Factory’s Chieri, is inspired by the first tankobon volume cover of the Ghost in the Shell manga. This figure depicts the Major curled up on her side, surrounded by a tangle of cables and wires plugged into her (the official description notes that “Actual cords are used for the cord details”), while she holds a pistol in her hands.
Additional features include the Major’s hair and boots, which are “aurora-plated like an optical camouflage,” as well as her expression’s ability to shift depending on the viewer’s angle. Made from plastic, the base of the figure is metal.

AmiAmi and Tokyo Otaku Mode indicate that the figure is set for release in October 2026, with Good Smile Global also providing the same time frame for shipping. For Good Smile US, the estimate for arrival is between December 31, 2026, and March 31, 2027.
Good Smile Global and Good Smile US have noted that November 26, 2025, is the pre-order cut-off date.
As of October 9, Tokyo Otaku Mode has announced the implementation of ECMS shipping for the US, which “allows full prepayment of US tariffs for internationally shipped orders.” Good Smile had announced on September 8 that it had resumed shipping to the US, with the customs duty total possibly varying due to the suspension of de minimis treatment.
AmiAmi’s website has not recently provided updates regarding US shipments since they were placed on hold in August, following the de minimis treatment suspension.
