The announcement regarding the Steam version was made on August 18 JST, along with the confirmation of the game’s release date on January 30, 2026 JST (the Steam release date is not included), the beginning of pre-orders in Japan, and the debut of the opening movie.
The story of anemoi follows siblings Mugi and Rikka Hayakawa as they arrive in the northern town of Masumi, where Mugi interacts with several heroines. The synopsis also alludes to a time capsule that was buried a decade ago and is about to be unearthed soon.
The development of the visual novel was announced in 2023.
