©『迷宮のしおり』製作委員会 A fresh teaser trailer has been unveiled for the forthcoming Labyrinth original anime film, which has announced a new cast member as well as a premiere date of January 1, 2026, in Japan.
Takuto Teranishi, from the Japanese male idol group timelesz, will lend his voice to the character Suguru Kagami, a young entrepreneur. This marks his debut in voice acting.
Shoji Kawamori is at the helm of directing the anime film (also known in Japanese as Meikyu no Shiori), with Risa Ebata (AKB0048 next stage, Macross F co-character designer) serving as character designer and Taichi Hashimoto (Revisions co-series screenwriter, Listeners co-series draft writer) handling the script.
Slow Curve, Vector Vision, GAGA Corporation, and Fuji Television are credited as the filmmakers, with Slow Curve also managing the planning and overall production. Sanzigen is responsible for the film’s animation production.

Shiori Maezawa, a typical high school student, unexpectedly breaks her smartphone one day and awakens to find herself in a desolate, alternate-world Yokohama. When she checks her phone, she discovers a photo of herself shared on her social media that is unfamiliar to her. What does the photo depict? Will she manage to escape this bizarre smartphone labyrinth?! A high school girl ensnared inside a smartphone and her relentless quest for escape from another realm.
