The anime will be available on the U-NEXT and Anime Hodai streaming platforms in Japan on October 2, while it will air on the Tokyo MX and BS NTV TV channels the same day. It will also premiere on the AT-X channel on October 3, 2025, with additional streaming services following on October 6, 2025.
Ayumu Kotake (Acro Trip) is leading the direction of the anime series, with Mio Inoue (Slow Start series screenwriter and co-scriptwriter, Acro Trip co-scenario writer) serving as series screenwriter and scriptwriter and Kenro Tokuda (Acro Trip sub-character designer) as character designer. Studio Elle is responsible for the animation production.
Meanwhile, the anime’s voice cast includes Lynn as Azusa Kannawa, Shogo Sakata as Yu Kamegawa, Ami Maeshima as Miho Hotta, and Mitsuki Saiga as Ritsu Kankaiji.
Makoto Kudo‘s original romantic comedy manga has been serialized in Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine since December 6, 2019. Nine tankobon volumes have been published as of March 2025, with a 10th volume slated for release in Japan on September 25, 2025. The manga is also available in English digitally on the Manga UP! Global app and Comikey.
