© 明鏡シスイ･ホビージャパン／無限ガチャ製作委員会Four brief character trailers have been made available for the forthcoming My Gift Lvl 9999 Unlimited Gacha: Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon, I’m Out for Revenge! TV anime series. The anime is set to debut in Japan on October 3, 2025. The recently released character trailers each focus on the series’ main characters, consisting of Light, Mei, Nazuna, and Aoyuki.
Katsushi Sakurabi (Flying Witch, Lostorage incited WIXOSS, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Arrow of the Orion) is helming the anime series, with Hiroshi Onogi (Blue Archive: The Animation [co-credits], Idol Memories) as the series screenwriter and scriptwriter, while Yukie Suzuki (Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy) serves as the character designer. J.C.STAFF handles the animation production. Meanwhile, the anime’s voice cast includes:

The original fantasy light novel series is authored by Meikyou Shisui, with illustrations by tef. It made its debut under Hobby Japan’s HJ Novels imprint on May 19, 2021, and has released 12 volumes as of April 2025. The series initially began as a Shosetsuka ni Naro web novel in April 2020. J-Novel Club has secured the rights for the digital release of the light novels in English, under the title Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon (with the complete English title listed as Backstabbed in a Backwater Dungeon: My Trusted Companions Tried to Kill Me, But Thanks to the Gift of an Unlimited Gacha I Got LVL 9999 Friends and Am Out For Revenge on My Former Party Members and the World).
A manga adaptation by Takafumi Oomae was initiated in May 2021. Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed the manga for English release.
