The anticipated TV anime My Sword Saint Master Is Too Cute to Live With has unveiled its first teaser visual following the adaptation’s announcement earlier this year.
The visual showcases the legendary Sword Saint Liza blushing while holding a sword, and you can take a look at it below.
Adapted from the light novel by Kennoji with illustrations by R_Ringo, the romantic comedy centers on Eugene, who starts living with his former master Liza after her retirement from adventuring. While Liza is a formidable swordswoman, her clumsiness in daily life often leaves Eugene feeling flustered with her constant, unintentional displays of affection.

Seven Seas plans to release Volume 1 of the manga in English in June 2027. They describe the narrative:
One young man’s aspiration to grow strong leads him to live and train with a powerful Sword Saint. Despite her incredible strength and combat skills, her ditzy personality and stunning beauty make her hard to resist! A delightful and sexy rom-com manga that will get your heart racing.
The anime is being produced by Deregula, an animation label dedicated to creating more mature-themed works.
In celebration of the adaptation, illustrator R_Ringo shared a special commemorative illustration, while original author Kennoji noted that the series has always been written with the hope of receiving an anime adaptation eventually. You can find both comments and see the illustration below.

I crafted this story with the intention of achieving an anime adaptation someday, but I never imagined it would truly happen. When I first received the news, I was utterly surprised and delighted! I am filled with gratitude for everyone involved in this project. I also eagerly anticipate watching the anime as a viewer myself.
