©2025 メガロックス社広報宣伝部 A fresh character trailer has been unveiled for the forthcoming Necronomico and the Cosmic Horror Show TV anime series, showcasing the assistant directors of the titular in-universe show, Zhar and Lloigor. The series is set to debut in Japan on July 1, 2025.
Zhar and Lloigor will also make their appearance as VTubers and are credited in the show as themselves. In addition, it has been revealed that two VTubers from the Nijisanji group, Joe Rikiichi and Yashiro Kizuki, will have minor cameos in the anime’s initial episode. A prior preview video of the premiere episode was also shared, featuring the daily life of the main protagonist, Miko.
Masato Matsune (The Stories of Girls Who Couldn’t Be Magicians) is at the helm of directing the original anime series, with Makoto Uezu (KonoSuba) serving as story draft writer and screenwriter, Jiro Suzuki (Revenger co-original character designer, Umineko no Naku Koro ni: Episode 2: Turn of the golden witch manga artist) as the original character designer, Hiroshi Kosuga as character designer and chief animation director, and Evan Call (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End) composing the music. Studio Gokumi is responsible for the animation production, while Cygames is noted as the series producer. Meanwhile, the anime’s voice cast comprises:
