The latest character trailer for the new Necronomico and the Cosmic Horror Show TV anime series has been unveiled, showcasing the actress turned live streamer Tsugumi Tsukasa. The original anime is set to premiere in Japan on July 1, 2025.
Masato Matsune (The Stories of Girls Who Couldn’t Be Magicians) will be directing the series, with Makoto Uezu (KonoSuba) serving as story draft writer and screenwriter. Jiro Suzuki (Revenger co-original character designer, Umineko no Naku Koro ni: Episode 2: Turn of the golden witch manga artist) is the original character designer, while Hiroshi Kosuga will take on character design and chief animation direction. Music composition will be handled by Evan Call (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End). Studio Gokumi is responsible for the animation production, with Cygames overseeing the overall production of the series.
