Crunchyroll is streaming the first season of Skip and Loafer, presenting the main synopsis as:
Iwakura Mitsumi graduated from a small middle school in the countryside and entered a top-tier high school in Tokyo as the head of her class. This prodigious child, who moved to Tokyo alone with a well-structured life plan, is intelligent and excels academically… yet her social skills do not quite align with those of her peers. This results in occasional blunders, but her laid-back disposition gradually wins over her classmates, causing their diverse personalities to blend together seamlessly.
They meet and gradually learn about one another, and soon they develop a strong mutual understanding. Each character grapples with suppressed emotions and desires, but it is our friends who create opportunities for empathetic connection. The narrative starts with some misunderstandings but quickly evolves into a delightful school-life comedy!
