This new film is anticipated to premiere in Japan sometime in 2026. The short video has also confirmed that additional information regarding the Expelled From Paradise sequel will be revealed this coming November.

Seiji Mizushima (returning) is at the helm of the sequel anime film, with Gen Urobuchi (returning) as the screenwriter: Gen Urobuchi (returning), Masatsugu Saito (returning) handling character design, and NARASAKI (returning) composing the music.
Kanetake Ebikawa (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury co-mechanical designer), Junya Ishigaki (Expelled from Paradise, Mobile Suit Gundam Wing co-mechanical designer), and Takayuki Yanase (Expelled from Paradise and Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury co-mechanical designer) are contributing as the mechanical designers for the film.
The latest promotional materials for the sequel film have dropped the initial English title Liberation from Paradise. The description of another teaser video, released in November 2024, only references the Japanese title Rakuen Tsuihou -Kokoro no Resonance- (the first teaser trailer also included Rakuen Tsuihou -Liberation from Paradise- in the title) while the English title in the logo is “Expelled from Paradise.”
