Unless… TV anime series will commence streaming on the It’s Anime FAST channel via Samsung TV Plus devices, starting on September 13, 2025. The series started airing in Japan on July 8, 2025 and will consist of 12 episodes.
The series is set to offer a binge-watch streaming release on the It’s Anime FAST channel. The schedule (subject to modifications) is as follows:
- • Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 1:50 PM EST: Episodes 1–10
- • Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 6:27 PM EST: Episode 1-10
- • Monday, September 15, 2025 from 5:37PM EST: Episode 1-11
The anime’s new 11th episode will be released and streamed after the conclusion of the September 15, 2025 stream at 10:03 PM EST.
The It’s Anime FAST Channel can be viewed on Samsung TV Plus across the Samsung TV, Galaxy, Smart Monitor, and Family Hub lineups, which are available on the Samsung Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, OLED, The Frame, and The Frame Pro TV devices.
REMOW also revealed that the first episode of There’s No Freaking Way I’ll Be Your Lover! Unless… garnered nearly 1.2 million views on the It’s Anime YouTube channel. The series — currently streaming up to episode 10 — has been watched over 3.7 million times overall.
Natsumi Uchinuma (storyboard artist and director for More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers ending animation, Episode 4 and 8) is leading the direction of the anime series, with Naruhisa Arakawa (More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers) as series screenwriter, and Takao Kato (More Than a Married Couple, But Not Lovers chief director) as advisor. Studio MOTHER is responsible for the animation production.
The anime’s primary voice cast includes

The original light novel series is authored by Teren Mikami and illustrated by Eku Takeshima. It first debuted by Shueisha’s Dash x Bunko imprint on February 21, 2020, and has released seven volumes, along with two short story collections, as of August 2025. An eighth volume is expected to arrive in Japan on September 25, 2025.
The light novels have also led to a manga adaptation by Musshu in May 2020.
