The series first began broadcasting in Japan on July 5, 2025.
The most recent trailer highlights the second cour’s opening theme “Futari-bun” performed by the band shalim, while the new ending theme is “Shippai Shinai Menhera no Sodate-kata” by artist Yurina Hirate.
Takashi Naoya (Übel Blatt, Tale of Wedding Rings) is at the helm of the anime series, with Matsuo Asami (Übel Blatt) serving as assistant director, Tatsuya Takahashi (Übel Blatt) as series screenwriter, and Sachiko Yasuda (My Happy Marriage [co-credit in Season 2]) as character designer. Staple Entertainment is responsible for the animation production.
The voice cast for the series includes:

The anime adapts the romantic comedy-drama manga created by Naru Narumi. It originally launched in Kadokawa Shoten’s Young Ace magazine on August 4, 2014, and continued until June 4, 2015. The series later transitioned to Kodansha’s Monthly Young Magazine and resumed on November 20, 2015, running until its conclusion on September 20, 2023. A total of sixteen tankobon volumes were made available in Japan. Kodansha USA secured the rights to release the manga digitally in English in 2019.
