New information about the Honkai: Star Rail x Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works collaboration announced last year has surfaced.
The collaboration event, named “Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail,” will introduce Saber and Archer as 5-star characters in the free-to-play turn-based RPG. Saber will align with Destruction: Wind, while Archer will follow The Hunt Path and the Quantum element.

Archer will be available for free starting July 11. He will remain accessible until Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.6 concludes.
This date will also signal the commencement of a Fate/Stay Night event and the collaboration’s warp. There’s a note stating that “the cumulative warp count for this collaboration warp is calculated independently of other warp types” such as Character Event Warps.
For the event, HoYoverse hints at featuring familiar Fate/Stay Night components like Heroic Spirits, Command Seals, Noble Phantasms, and classes, which players can use to “achieve strategic victories.” More information will emerge later, but the promotional message states:
In the realm of dreams, strive to obtain the Holy Grail, an artifact capable of manifesting all desires, and summon historical figures as Servants — the inaugural Penaconian Holy Grail War is imminent! And the Trailblazer will be… Player?
The announcement also hints at “exciting” exchanges between Saber and the Astral Express Crew.
The narrative of the collaboration was overseen by Fate/Stay Night scenario writer Kinoko Nasu, while the original concept designs for the Servants in Honkai: Star Rail were created by Fate/Stay Night character designer Takashi Takeuchi.
These updates follow the conclusion of the Honkai: Star Rail 2025 concert, shortly after the game’s second anniversary. A new Honkai game was also announced.
