CyberAgent, Inc. has made the announcement today that The Bugle Call: Song of War (penned by Sora Mozuku and illustrated by Higoro Tomori), a well-received manga published in Shueisha’s Jump SQ., is set for adaptation into a TV anime, anticipated to start airing and streaming in 2027.
In conjunction with the announcement regarding the TV anime, a teaser visual and an extensive teaser trailer lasting almost 4 minutes were revealed.
The Bugle Call: Song of War centers on Luca, a young boy aspiring to be a musician, who discovers his unusual ability to “see sounds” amid a challenging fate. The story chronicles his growth through significant encounters with new friends and fierce battles. With “sound” as a key theme, Hitomi Koto (composer for Kyoto Animation’s Sparks of Tomorrow) will take charge of the music, with the background score prominently featuring live instruments.
