Actress Mikaela Hoover will be voicing Tony Tony Chopper and will also provide the facial capture for the character.
She is joining several new cast members for the second season, including:

- • Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha
- • Mark Harelik as Dr. Hiriluk
- • Callum Kerr as Smoker
- • Julia Rehwald as Tashigi
- • Rob Colletti as Wapol
- • Ty Keogh as Dalton
- • David Dastmalchian as Galdino/Mr. 3
Meanwhile, the main cast returning from the first season consists of:
- • Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy
- • Mackenyu as Roronoa Zoro
- • Emily Rudd as Nami
- • Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp
Joe Tracz (co-executive producer of Percy Jackson and the Olympians) is taking on the role of showrunner for the second season, after previously joining as a writer and executive producer. Matt Owens, who was initially the showrunner for the first season, stepped down from his role this past March. Steven Maeda, who helped develop the series with Owens and served as co-showrunner in the first season, is also still involved as an executive producer. Netflix’s One Piece live-action series is a joint production with Tomorrow Studios (known for Cowboy Bebop live action and Snowpiercer). The first season comprised eight episodes and was launched on Netflix on August 31, 2023.
