The forthcoming Japanese dub of the donghua series, Who Made Me A Princess, has unveiled its Japanese key visual. The series will feature a one-hour special stream in Japan prior to its October 1, 2025, debut.
Who Made Me A Princess originated as a web novel penned by Plutus. It inspired a webtoon/manhwa by Spoon. The web novel is available in English on Tapas, and Seven Seas Entertainment has licensed and published the manhwa in English. The narrative is described as: The tale of Athanasia, the forsaken princess of the Obelian Empire, concludes with her execution at the hands of her own father—except, did it? Her tragic story forms the basis of the novel The Lovely Princess. But now, a contemporary woman who read the book has awakened as baby Athanasia herself, complete with her memories and knowledge of the story she’s trapped in! Determined to alter her fate, infant Athanasia sets out on this new life with a strategy: avoid attention and amass valuables to fund her escape. When her plan goes awry, she must rely on her charm to win over her father, the beautiful tyrant emperor, to prevent him from killing her again!
