Following three years of “special training,” he has gained immense strength, making him almost unbeatable. In fact, he’s too powerful — even the strongest foes are defeated with a single punch. Along with Genos, his loyal student, Saitama fulfills his role as a member of the Hero Association.
One day, monsters identifying themselves as members of the Monster Association suddenly emerge, taking a child of a Hero Association executive as a hostage. The S-class heroes convene and strategize a raid on the Monster Association’s hideout to save the hostage. Meanwhile, Garou, a “human monster” captured by the Monster Association during a battle with the heroes, awakens in the Monster Association’s hideout.
Viewers can now watch Seasons 1 and 2, streaming on Hulu (U.S.) and Netflix (Canada and Latin America). Digital purchasing options are also available through Prime Video and Fandango at Home (U.S.), as well as Google, Apple TV, Microsoft Movies & TV, and YouTube (U.S. and Canada).
One-Punch Man is produced by J.C. STAFF, based on the original web manga created by One (writer and illustrator of the Mob Psycho 100 and Makai no Ossan series), which was adapted by Yusuke Murata (Eyeshield 21, Partner, Samui Hanashi) and published by Shueisha in Weekly Young Jump. The anime series is composed by Tomohiro Suzuki (Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, Negative Positive Angler), with character designs by Chikashi Kubota, Shinjiro Kuroda, and Ryosuke Shirakawa. The music is scored by Makoto Miyazaki.
