Michiya Kato (Kanashiki Debu Neko-chan and Nandaka Velonica director, Bubble and Trillion Game VFX supervisor) is directing the anime series, with singer and choreographer RIEHATA serving as the anime’s dance producer, having previously worked on choreographies for EXILE, KAT-TUN, and BTS, among others. Madhouse and Cyclone Graphics are managing the animation production for the series.
Wandance is based on the coming-of-age romance manga series by Coffee, which has been serialized since January 25, 2019 in Kodansha’s Afternoon magazine and Magazine Pocket. A total of 13 tankobon volumes were published as of August 2024.
